We are pleased to welcome you to the new academic session at VIKAASA. Our goal is to work together to provide our students with a rich and engaging learning environment.
Since its humble beginnings in 1969, VIKAASA HERITAGE SCHOOL has made significant strides in the field of education, establishing a niche for itself. Notably, Vikaasa Heritage School was the first school in Tamil Nadu to be affiliated with the ICSE (TN001).
VIKAASA operates on the belief that education extends beyond traditional classroom learning. We have implemented a system that goes beyond the set curriculum, focusing on developing each child’s unique abilities and skills. Our primary objective is to impart knowledge in a way that translates into practical application, enhancing the students’ understanding of various theories as they progress academically.
Our teachers are the driving force behind empowering every student, helping them grow into responsible citizens with discerning minds and a global perspective. Dr. N.K.P. Ashok Raj is a seasoned professional at GLOBAL SCHOOLS GROUP, having joined the organization in 2007. He has held the position of Principal at various GSG locations, including Malaysia, Surat, and Pune, before moving to Madurai in 2024. Under his leadership, these schools thrived academically and in all-round activities, earning him much appreciation for his contributions.
With over 35 years of experience in education, Dr. Ashok Raj is a dedicated teacher and administrator. He holds a Postgraduate degree in Commerce, a Postgraduate degree in Education, a PG Diploma in Business Administration, and a Doctorate in Education from Madras University. His career includes roles as a College Lecturer, PGT, Vice Principal, Head of a Cambridge School, and Principal of a CBSE School.
Dr. Ashok Raj has been actively involved in various initiatives to improve education. He served as a Master Trainer in 2000, training school teachers in technology through Intel in Chennai City Schools. In 2001, he was the City Coordinator for establishing Consumer Clubs in Chennai City Schools, a project funded by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, in collaboration with the Consumer Forum of Chennai.
As a qualified Internal Auditor for ISO, Dr. Ashok Raj served as the Management Representative for Quality Excellence in Kuala Lumpur. His extensive experience spans five different curricula and five boards of affiliation, including the TN State Board, TN Matriculation Board, CBSE (Indian), CBSE (International), Andhra State Board, and Cambridge (CIPP to IGCSE).
