Student Evaluation System

System of Grades and Report Card

“LEARNERS NEED ENDLESS FEEDBACK MORE THAN THEY NEED ENDLESS TEACHING”. – Grant Wiggins.

Students are graded in each subject on a scale of A* to E on their achievement. ‘A*‘ as the highest and ‘E’ as the lowest  level. A child not fit for the present level receives a ‘U’ meaning ‘ungraded’. The student’s report card  would contain specific comments from the  respective subject teacher on his/her ‘Effort’ which  would reflect his/her industry,  diligence, alertness during lessons, participation in classroom activities and projects, etc.

The School academic year is divided into two semesters.

Semester I    – April  to October

Semester II  – November to March

Assessments are based on school’s ‘Continuous Assessment Plan’.

End of Semester Exams are conducted in October & March. (For Grade 5 and above)

The report cards would contain the assessment grades based on scholastic, non scholastic and social skills of a child.
