STUDENT’S COUNCIL
“Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others.”
The investiture ceremony is one of the first momentous occasions of the school where the newly elected and selected members of the school’s senate are officially vested with their powers and positions.
The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects.
The prefectorial body’s responsibilities include –
- Safeguarding and promoting the rights and welfare of every student.
- Keeping the student abreast of the developments that are taking place in the school in order to increase their level of participation and sense of belonging.
- Ensuring that the students are abiding by the rules and regulations of the school.
- Ensuring that the students are regularly participating in the diverse types of activities organized by the school.
- Ensuring that the students are properly making use of the school facilities.
- Upholding the moral values of the school every time.
- Identifying the student’s needs and issues in order to solve them effectively.
- Informing students about their rights and the way in which they can access them.
Students of today are the visionaries and torch bearers of tomorrow. When we develop personality, skill and mind, we develop responsible human beings with leadership qualities.
